Katie Musella, M.A
Katie is a doctoral student clinician who specializes in individual psychotherapy with children, adolescents, and emerging adults struggling with anxiety and anxiety-related issues.
Katie earned her M.A. in Psychology at the University of Rhode Island in (2021) and her B.A. in Psychology (2014) at URI. She has completed comprehensive practicum-level training as part of the Child Anxiety Program at URI’s Psychological Consultation Center. Katie has provided psychological services to children, adolescents, and young adults in a range of settings to address challenges with anxiety, mood, social-emotional functioning, learning, attention and behavior. She has received formalized training and is skilled at providing individualized psychotherapy for the treatment of anxiety and anxiety-related issues using treatment modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) techniques and is passionate about assisting clients through their journey in a caring and compassionate atmosphere.
